The New Group presents the world premiere of STEVE, a new play by Mark Gerrard. Directed by Cynthia Nixon, this production features Ashlie Atkinson and Francisco Pryor Garat, and as announced, Mario Cantone, Jerry Dixon, Malcolm Gets and Matt McGrath. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays tonight, November 3, through December 27 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street), with Official Opening Night set for Wednesday, November 18.

Tony nominee Elizabeth A. Davis and actor Gary Farmer lead the cast of Goodspeed's INDIAN JOE. Based on a true story, INDIAN JOE, a new musical about discovering the true meaning of family, will inspire Connecticut audiences this fall. An acoustic powerhouse cast of actor-musicians will weave a tuneful tale that beats with pure American heart and soul. A memorial tribute will be held for Roger Rees, the legendary Tony Award-winning actor, and Tony Award nominated director, today, September 21 at 1:00 PM at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 W 42nd Street, NYC).

Based on the beloved 1946 holiday movie classic, this charming musical is sure to inspire and entertain. BroadwayWorld has just learned that Cirque du Soleil Theatrical is coming to Broadway! Scott Zeiger, President and Managing Director just announced the new production of Cirque du Soleil -PARAMOUR, the organization's first created specifically for Broadway. Previews for this production will begin on Saturday, April 16, 2016 with an official opening set for Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director), in association with Ryan Murphy, just announced that Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon will return to Broadway as "James Tyrone, Jr." in Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night, joining the previously announced Academy and Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange as "Mary Tyrone," Golden Globe winner and Tony Award nominee Gabriel Byrne as "James Tyrone," and Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr. as "Edmund Tyrone." Jonathan Kent will direct, as part of Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th anniversary season.
