Vivian Phillips Announced As Interim Marketing Director at STG

Seattle Theatre Group (STG), the non-profit performing arts organization that operates the historic Paramount, Moore and Neptune Theatres announces the appointment of Vivian Phillips as Interim Director of Marketing and Communications.

Phillips will lead the marketing department through The Neptune Theatre launch and remaining 2011 Season engagements, including, Spectrum Dance Theater (March 4-6 at The Moore), Billy Elliot The Musical (March 17-April 3 at The Paramount), and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (March 25-27 at The Paramount).

"I'm thrilled to have Vivian on board with us," said Executive Director, Josh LaBelle. "Her leadership, knowledge of the industry and prior association with STG are key during the crucial months ahead." Phillips is an arts leader, consultant, educator and public speaker. She continues her work with The Hansberry Project at ACT Theatre and recently served as Executive Manager at Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center. Former positions include, Director of Communications for Mayor Paul Schell and Associate Director of Seattle Landmark Association (AKA STG). Phillips chairs the Board of Directors for Arts Corps, and serves advisory positions with Washington State Building for the Arts, King County Television, Leadership Council of Seattle University College of Arts & Sciences, Arts, Culture and Design Committee for Seattle Center Next Fifty and represents STG on the Africa Contemporary Arts Consortium.
