Theater Puget Sound Announces Ariel Bradler as New Executive Director

Theatre Puget Sound is thrilled to announce the selection of Ariel Bradler as its new executive director. The selection was made after a regional search and selection process, which included interviews with, and public presentations for panels comprised of both TPS Board and staff representatives, as well as stakeholders from Seattle Center, TPS Membership, and experts from other arts and business disciplines.

Agastya Kohli, a Co-Chair for the Search Committee, says of the selection that "the process we created was as far reaching in search, and as fair and thorough in selection as possible. We had the pleasure of meeting a lot of very talented candidates, and an unenviable task of making a final selection between some extremely qualified folks. We are delighted with the result of the ED Search process and are very excited to have Ms. Bradler on board. I look forward to TPS' future with her at the helm."

"Ariel will bring leadership and creativity to TPS' programs and a deep sense of commitment to our theatre community. Ariel brings with her a wealth of skills and passion for the job at hand. The Board would also like to thank the numerous members of our community that participated in the process, including our strong candidate pool."

Ariel is a seasoned arts administrator and advocate for theatre and the performing arts. Her work with Seattle Children's Theatre began in 2008 where she leads with a lens of organizational strength through collaboration and communication and departs as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Ariel came to Seattle from Denver where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in Theatre from the University of Colorado at Denver and spent two seasons as an associate company member of Curious Theatre Company. Ariel's passion for inclusion and equity in the community has been bolstered with her participation in the inaugural, Leadership for Social Change cohort, a new TPS program through artEquity. Ariel will start her work at TPS on August 24th, 2017.
