Tacoma Little Theatre Announces Auditions For SCROOGE
Tacoma Little Theatre is holding auditions for its holiday production of Scrooge! The Musical, directed by Micheal O'Hara, musically directed by Zachary Kellogg, and choreographed by Eric Clausell.
Auditions will be held Sunday, September 16th and Monday, September 17th at Tacoma Little Theatre. Audition appointments will be set between the times of 6:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday and 7:00pm-10:00pm on Monday. Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, September 19th.
This musical, with book, music and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, is adapted from the 1970 musical film Scrooge which starred Albert Finney and Sir Alec Guinness. The miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.
Please prepare at least 16 bars of a song in the style of the show. Part of the audition may include a cold reading. Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. All roles are available, including roles for youth ages 6 and up.
