TMP Seniors Present NUNSENSE June 24-26

The Young At Heart Players, TMP's Senior Musical Theater Education program is pleased to present a new version of the madcap musical comedy, NUNSENSE - The Mega-Musical! This new version tells everyone's favorite story of the Little Sisters of Hoboken, but also adds some additional characters (including men!) and musical numbers that you've never seen before.

The Young At Heart Players is an exciting theatrical opportunity for mature adults age 50 and older through a performance-based workshop that rehearses for eight weeks and culminates in a fully-staged musical production for everyone to enjoy. Directed by retired theater director from Bellarmine Prep, Mike Wilkinson, this program is provided to the community by the TMP Education Department and is free to all registered participants.

Nunsense, The Mega-Musical runs for just three performances June 24-26, 2011. It plays Friday & Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. All performances take place at Tacoma Musical Playhouse, 7116 6th Avenue in Tacoma, and all seats are reserved so advance purchase is strongly recommended. Ticket prices are just $15 for adults; and $13 for seniors, students and military, and $10 for children 12 and younger. A group rate is available for groups of 10 or more. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly toward providing this Senior Musical Theater Education Workshop free of charge to the community.
