TMP Presents JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, Now thru 7/29

Celebrate summer at TMP with the 10th Anniversary Revival production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

TMP's imaginative, all-new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical theater classic is presented in a never-before seen setting, filled with electrifying music and exhilarating choreography.

From the Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors, Jacob's favorite son, Joseph (Matt Posner), is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. Once news of Joseph's gift to interpret dreams reaches the Pharaoh, Joseph finds himself well on his way to becoming second in command.

TMP's Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat features a cast of 44 singer/actor/dancers and runs for 16 performances tonight, July 6 through July 29, 2012. It plays Fridays at 8 pm, Saturdays at 2 pm & 8 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. All performances take place at Tacoma Musical Playhouse, 7116 6th Avenue in Tacoma.

All seating for TMP Mainstage and TCMT productions is reserved, so advance purchase is strongly recommended. Matinee performances, in particular, are filling very quickly.

Ticket prices are $27 for adults; $25 for seniors, students and military; and $20 for children 12 and under. Student Rush prices ($20) are always available for all Opening Weekend performances and a group rate is available for groups of 10 or more.
