The Lakewood Playhouse will present the FIFTH SHOW of our 76th SEASON: The Fast-Paced 4 Person Comedy "THE 39 STEPS" by Patrick Barlow & John Buchan - Based on the Film by Alfred Hitchock. The Play will be performed on Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Performances will be April 17th through May 10th, 2015 with Special Showings at 8:00pm on Thursday, April 23rd (Pay What You Can Night) and 8:00pm on Thursday, April 30th (Pay What You Can" Actor's Benefit). Our Ticket Prices are $25.00 (General Admission), $22.00 (Military), $21.00 (Seniors) and $19.00 (Students/Educators).

Presented in the Lakewood Playhouse's thrust configuration with seating facing the stage as well as its sides. This production of "THE 39 STEPS" will drop you right into the middle of a 1930s British Music Hall for an evening of Hilariously Fast-Paced Comedy where MONTH PYTHON MEETS HITCHCOCK!

THE 39 STEPS will be directed by Lakewood Playhouse Managing Artistic Director JOHN MUNN. John is excited to bringing back the Monty Python Style Comedy he directed in last year's Smash Hit Musical SPAMALOT while also paying homage to one of his very favorite directors - Alfred Hitchcock!

The show consists of ONLY FOUR ACTORS Playing 152 Roles! We are thrilled to announce that all four of them are returning actors to the Lakewood Playhouse stage: BRYAN BENDER (The Lion in Winter and The Importance of Being Ernest), DEYA OZBURN (Oliver!, The Children's Hour, The Importance of Being Ernest, The Chronicles of Narnia and The Miracle Worker), PAUL RICHTER (The Children's Hour and Pride & Prejudice) and Frank Roberts (Glengarry Glen Ross).
