SilverSounds Northwest to Perform in Burien, 4/17
SilverSounds Northwest believes that you're never too old to rock 'n roll. More than sixty fun-loving retirees, ranging in age from 60 to 87, will present a high energy show that includes clever staging, narration and choreography. After three years of steady growth, SilverSounds Northwest is expected to repeat last year's sold out performance this upcoming Sunday afternoon April 17, 2016. The chorus will take the audience through the origins of rock music while showcasing its evolution and varied styles from the 50s 60s 70s and beyond. The lineup includes songs made famous by The Beatles, Bob Seger, Whitney Houston, Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis, Billy Joel and many others. Every song in the program was a chartbusting hit!
Families hunting for affordable entertainment will delight and parents looking for a risk-free way to introduce their children to the joys of choral music can rest easy because Northwest Associated Arts youth ticket program lets young people 17 and under in free with a paid adult.
