SPT Adds ASL Interpreted Performance Of David Sedaris' THE SANTALAND DIARIES Friday, December 21st

By:

Seattle Public Theater (SPT) is proud to announce a special American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performance of David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries on Friday, December 21st at 9pm.
In this stand-alone performance veteran ASL interpreter Andy Gault lends his talents as "shadower," by not simply standing on the sidelines but becoming a part of the stage picture. This is guaranteed to be a unique performance and not one to be missed!
ABOUT THE SANTALAND DIARIES
Running December through 24TH, this outrageous one-man show features SPT alumnus Patrick Lennon as David, an aspiring young artist struggling to survive in New York City. Desperate for cash, David finds employment as a minion to Santa Claus at Macy's Santaland. Told in Sedaris' inimitable style, The Santaland Diaries is steeped in caustic humor and irony that strips away the layers of frenzied holiday insanity to reveal the best and worst in us all.
Please Note: The Santaland Diaries is for the pointy ears of mature elves only.
The Santaland Diaries is directed by SPT Artistic Associate Kelly Kitchens and features the design talents of Richard Schaefer (Lighting), Michael Chinn (Assistant Lighting Design), Dustin Morache (Sound), Amy McDonald (Costumes) and Max Pagel (Props).
The Santaland Diaries performances runs through December 24TH, 2012. Tickets may be purchased by phone at (206) 524-1300 or online at www.seattlepublictheater.org.
