REDUX Benefit Party Held 12/4 At Kirkland Arts Center

By: Oct. 06, 2009

On Friday, December 4, Kirkland Arts Center hosts an all-new annual event: REDUX, a one-of-a kind benefit party. Each year, REDUX begins with a blank palate, taking on a different movement in modern art history. For this, ourinaugural year of REDUX, KAC evokes the revolutionary spirit of Impressionism, making it fresh and contemporary again. Think playful colors, flirty music, champagne cocktails, and modern French cuisine!

REDUX includes a live auction unlike any in the region, featuring the REDUX Studio Challenge. For this Challenge, the region's best emerging and established artists have been asked to interpret and reinvent Impressionism in their own contemporary style. KAC's expert panel will select five participating artists to compete for the REDUX Studio Challenge Award (a $1,000 prize), and YOU vote for the winner the night of the event.

Works of art by leading artists, in addition to travel, leisure, personal services, and unique arts experiences are yours for the bidding in our REDUX silent and live auctions.

Stay tuned for more details about the evening's schedule, participating artists, featured auction items, and unforgettable artist-designed experiences.

Impeccably styled by interior designer "A" of Simplicity Décor, and featuring menu designed by Lake Street Catering, REDUX is the party everyone will be talking about.
