Northwest Savoyards Musical Theatre Society was founded in 1990, premiering with a sold-out performance of H.M.S. Pinafore. In the beginning, most of our performers and all of our audience came from the local Everett area. Show budgets were small, and we performed in a high school gym with notoriously uncomfortable folding chairs for seating. Twenty years later, we attract actors and supporters from all over the Puget Sound region. The Savoyards are excited to once again partner with the Everett Theatre Group, and perform in the beautiful Historic Everett Theatre. In our effort to expand our role in the community, the Northwest Savoyards have partnered with several other local non-profits and are exploring ways to raise awareness of the theatre arts with area youth and to help young performers throughout the community expand their appreciation of theatre along with their performance skills.
