New Amerikan Theatre (NAT) unveils their follow-up to the all-female, sold-out run of Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night with Stings Like Acid. A collaborative original script written by company members Telisa Steen, Kirsten McCory and Carolynne Wilcox, the piece was performed in a condensed version at Freehold Theatre's 15th annual Studio Series in February.

Weaving Butoh dance and movement through a non-linear chain of events, the story blends classical epic with personal mythology as three childhood friends called Rachel (Steen, McCory and Wilcox) struggle with identity and inner demons as they fight to gain control of their dismantled lives. Through love, loss and their constant friend Tobias (Charles Gift), they begin to unearth the power of truth.

Stings Like Acid will be performed Friday and Saturday evenings November 12-27 at 8pm in the Seattle Centerhouse at TPS theatre 4. Tickets are $15 and available through www.brownpapertickets.com. For more information, please go to the NAT website at www.new-amerikantheatre.weebly.com.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.brownpapertickets.com or by phone at 800-838-3006.
