The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to announce that, due to POPULAR DEMAND, we are EXTENDING our Current Production of The Musical "Monty Python's SPAMALOT" by ONE WEEK! The Tony-Award Winning Musical, with Book & Lyrics by Eric Idle and Music by John Du Prez & Eric Idle, has SOLD OUT during EVERY SINGLE Performance of the Show during its run so far!

"We always thought that our audiences would have a great time with SPAMALOT," said Managing Artistic Director John Munn, "But we never anticipated people coming to see the show a second and third time! We have never sold out a show for every performance since opening night. We are overwhelmed by how much Python Fans, both new and old, have embraced this show. We can think of no better way of thanking them than by extending the show for another weekend!"

When the cast and crew of twenty-five were asked if they wanted to extend the show, they jumped at the chance to keep having fun!

"It's an amazing way to end our 75th Anniversary Season," Munn continued, "We want to give everyone a chance to see the amazing show that this hard-working cast and crew have truly made their own. There are still some tickets available over the next few weeks, but by adding an additional weekend we can open up 450 more chances for folks to see it!"

The show will be performed on Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Show Dates are now EXTENDED through July 20th, 2014! SPAMALOT Ticket Prices are $29.00 (General Admission), $27.00 (Military), $26.00 (Seniors) and $24.00 (Students/Educators).

Audiences have been cheering our Musical (lovingly) Ripped off from the World Famous Motion Picture Comedy MONTY PYTHON & THE HOLY GRAIL. Monty Python's SPAMALOT is Directed by Lakewood Playhouse's Managing Artistic Director JOHN MUNN, who has been a Monumental "Python" Fan since the age of twelve. John has directed such shows at Lakewood Playhouse as The Lion in Winter, The Farnsworth Invention and last season's The Children's Hour. "Monty Python's SPAMALOT" is Musically Directed by DEBORAH LYNN ARMSTRONG-Musical Director of our Oliver! The show is Choreographed by CASI WILKERSON-Director of Oliver!, Pride & Prejudice and last season's The Rainmaker. Mrs. Wilkerson also served as Choreographer of Oliver! and for our production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

ABOUT THE SHOW: SPAMALOT is a musical comedy "lovingly ripped off from" the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Like the film, it is a highly irreverent parody of the Arthurian Legend, but it differs from the film in many ways, beginning with women slapping men in the face with fish. The Winner of the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical!

A Lakewood Playhouse Premier!

Parental Advisory: Large, heaping amounts of Crude Humor with some side-orders of Innuendo, a Bit of Cursing and a cornucopia of Naughty Bits not suitable for the entire family. Well, maybe your Aunt from Yelm...She's a bit progressive.

ABOUT OUR THEATRE: The Lakewood Playhouse was founded in 1938 and has established itself with theatre that is both intimate and epic. The theatre is located within the Lakewood Towne Center, 5729 Lakewood Towne Center Blvd., Lakewood, Washington 98499.
