Dina Martina Returns To ACTLab For Another Season Of Holiday Hilarity Image

ACTLab The halls are decked, the stockings hung, and Dina Martina is coming back to town December 5-24! Miss Martina (a.k.a. "The Second Lady of Entertainment") returns to the ACTLab stage with noted accompanist and Stranger Genius Award-winner, Chris Jeffries, serving Seattle's favorite brand of yuletide merriment since its beginnings at Re-bar over 20 years ago.

Dina Martina first brought this hysterically funny holiday hit to ACTLab in 2018, delighting and dumbfounding audiences with her wondrous, surreal blend of questionable song, unnecessary dance, overburdened costumes, and side-splitting video. And who could forget Miss Martina's favorite seasonal tradition? Distributing pointless (and seriously coveted) holiday gifts to lucky audience members. Michael Musto, columnist for The Village Voice, calls Dina Martina "[t]he most original drag performer working in America today. A master comic." Filmmaker John Waters says, "Dina Martina goes way beyond drag into some new kind of twisted art."

The Dina Martina Christmas Show runs December 5-24, 2019 in The Falls Theatre at ACT Theatre, 700 Union Street in downtown Seattle. Tickets start at $20 and may be purchased at acttheatre.org/DinaMartina, by phone at 206.292.7676, or at the ACT Ticket Office at 700 Union Street.
