Dane Ballard Productions to Present THE GRIMALDIS: A MUSICAL GHOST STORY at Hale's Palladium, 5/16-25

An audience-immersion party/theatre event, reminiscent of the famous "Tony and Tina's Wedding," but with ghosts, "The Grimaldis: A Musical Ghost Story" by Dane Ballard Productions, will be presented Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at Hale's Palladium May 16-25. The audience will become more than just spectators, acting as guests at a haunted party, nibbling hors d'oeuvres and mingling with ghosts who perform around them, singing, performing magic, aerial acts, comedy, dance and more. "Like the celebrated "Tony and Tina's Wedding," "The Grimaldis" is an audience-immersion show that will be more fun to watch than the average theatre production. "Theatre Amuse-Bouche" means "theatre that entertains the mouth," and usually applies to gastronomic experiences, but in this case, it's the act of tasting delicious hors d'oeuvres as a part of the audience's interaction with the performance. The appetizers will be created by Hale's, and served by the characters as if each audience member is at a party with this eccentric family of performing ghosts. "The Grimaldis may be dead, but the show (and the party) must go on," Ballard said.
