Cafe Nordo's SAUCED to Open 10/15
In 2010, in the back warehouse of Theo Chocolate, Café Nordo went from a quirky experiment to a Seattle artistic institution with their smash hit Sauced. Set in a bar in Pioneer Square just after the end of prohibition, this seductive noir thriller drew sold-out houses for the extended run. Five years later Café Nordo had arrived at a new historic venue in Pioneer Square, and the reimagined hit show Sauced will kick off their new season in the perfect vintage venue - Nordo's Culinarium.
The entire original cast returns including Broadway veteran Billie Wildrick, Gregory Award Winner Ray Tagavilla, with Nordo favorites Opal Peachey and Mark Siano fresh off their smash hit Bohemia. Multi-talented Evan Mosher joins the cast as a drunk trumpet playing historian. Richard Sloniker, one of Seattle's most respected actors, will step in for Tagavilla for a portion of the run and director Paul Baudritis will be at the helm.
"Best Bartender in America" Murray Stenson has crafted a classic cocktail flight to pair with four courses of chef Erin Brindley's culinary reimagining of popular dishes of the day. Award-Winning Composer Annastasia Workman has added original jazz numbers to make Sauced Café Nordo's most universally beloved production to date.
