Buonopane, Levine, et al. Join Cast of 5th Avenue's GUYS & DOLLS

The 5th Avenue Theatre has just announced the full cast for its upcoming production of Guys and Dolls. The show will run May 12 - June 15, and will be directed by Peter Rothstein.

The cast is as follows: Daniel Levine (Nathan Detroit), Brandon O'Neill (Sky Masterson), Katherine Strohmaier (Sarah Brown), Billie Wildrick (Miss Adelaide), Todd Buonopane (Nicely Nicely Johnson), Clayton Corzatte (Arvide Abernathy), Allen Galli (Rusty Charlie), David Drummond (Big Jule), Bradford Farwell (Harry the Horse), Jim Gall (Lieutenant Brannigan), Laura Kenny (General Cartwright), and Greg McCormick Allen (Benny Southstreet).

The ensemble Features: David Alewine, Joshua Carter, Ross Cornell, Gabriel Corey, Sarah Davis, Bob De Dea, Bojohn Diciple, Christian Duhamel, Michael Ericson, Eric Esteb, Brittany Jamieson, Ann McCormick Allen, Trina Mills, Kasey Nusbickel, Katie Rooney, Jessica Skerritt, Mara Solar, and Dane Stokinger.

Now celebrating its 31st anniversary season, The 5th Avenue Theatre is acclaimed as one of America's leading musical theatre companies. Under the leadership of Executive Producer and Artistic Director David Armstrong, Managing Director Bernadine Griffin, and Producing Director Bill Berry, The 5th Avenue has premiered 10 new musicals during the past 10 years, five of which have moved to Broadway, and two of which have earned Tony Awards for Best Musical. Those productions include Hairspray (2003 Tony Award for Best Musical), Memphis (2010 Tony Award for Best Musical), The Wedding Singer, Shrek and Catch Me If You Can. In July 2011, The 5th Avenue Theatre will produce the world premiere of a new stage musical of Disney's Aladdin, and in the fall of 2011, The 5th will produce Saving Aimee, a new musical based on the life of evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson.

In addition to bringing new musicals to the stage, The 5th is also renowned for its exceptional productions of the best of contemporary and classic Broadway musicals. Unique in its Chinese-inspired design, this exquisite theater opened in 1926 as a venue for vaudeville and film. In 1980, the non-profit 5th Avenue Theatre began producing and presenting top-quality live musical theater. Today, The 5th Avenue Theatre attracts an annual attendance of more than 287,000 and ranks among the nation's largest and most respected musical theater companies.
