BPA Community Educational & Fundraising Event Will Focus on Multiple Sclerosis, 4/26

BPA is will present "Taking the Mystery our of Multiple Sclerosis," a BPA Community Educational and Fundraising Event featuring a special screening of "Romancing the Buddha," a 45-minute one man play by Mike Lisagor, adapted by Steven Fogell. Dee Axelrod says, "Addressing adversity in everyday life, Mike Lisagor seamlessly weaves familiar marital bumps, child rearing, the work world, his depressions and her multiple sclerosis." The screening is followed by a lively panel discussion with local health practitioners Dr. Jillian Worth, MD, Mikki Townshend, PT, OCS, and Dr. Lucia Vracin (Petheram), DC.

This community event appears at BPA Friday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, $12 per person, may be purchased online atwww.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, by phone at 206.842.8569 or in person at BPA, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. BPA Box Office hours are 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and one hour prior to each performance. All proceeds benefit the 2013 Bainbridge Island Walk MS National MS Society, Greater Washington Chapter. Let's support the over 80 fellow islanders and their families who deal with the effects of Multiple Sclerosis!!!
