ArtsWest to Present LITTLE WOMEN, 11/29-12/29

By:

Little Women - The Broadway Musical, featuring Book by Allan Knee, Music by Jason Howland and Lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott and directed by Mathew Wright, will run November 29th - December 29th, 2013, at ArtsWest. With music direction by Josh Zimmerman and choreography by Taryn Darr.

Based on Louisa May Alcott's enduring classic, Little Women follows the beloved stories of the March sisters as they come of age in Civil War America. This timeless captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, and everlasting love.

Defiant and headstrong Jo, delicate Beth, sweet Meg, and petulant Amy captivate us as they enchant the men in their lives. This story - based on Louisa May Alcott's own childhood - is so deeply etched in the cultural and emotional landscape of our country, that it resurfaces generation after generation to capture our hearts. This holiday season, let ArtsWest bring you and your family on this journey of courage, friendship and loss - reminding us to care for what we believe in and to care deeply for those we choose to love.

Running November 29th - December 29th, playing Wednesdays thru Saturdays 7:30pm, Sundays at 3pm, Special Event Tea - Saturday Dec. 14th or 21st - 2pm tea/3pm show. Tickets can be purchased at www.artswest.org, by phone 206.938.0339, or in person Thursdays & Fridays 1-7:30pm, Saturdays 1:30-7:30pm.
