Annex Theatre Presents EVENINGS WITH CARLOTTA, 4/30-5/21

By:

Annex Theatre presents a very "spayshul" late night show: Evenings With Carlotta created and performed by Troy Mink and directed by K. Brian Neel.

Carlotta Sue Philpott welcomes you to a very 'spayshul' evening indeed. What makes this night so "spaysul" you ask? Is it the Vienna Sausages & Rice Crispie Treats? No, Carlotta always has those on hand. Is it Carlotta's good natured smile or slight gleam of mischievousness? No, Carlotta's always had her rascally un-P.C. ways. Carlotta staying up "extry" late? No, she's been stayin' up past dark-thirty for YEARS! What makes this evening so special is that YOU have decided to come visit and Carlotta LOVES havin' company and a good story to tell. So why don't you come on over, wipe yer feet off on the door mat, plop down your BE-hind on your fancy theater seat and let Carlotta take good care of you for an evening? Plenty of laughs (and maybe even a tear) plus a hearty heapin' helpin' of hospitality await you when you spend Evenings With Carlotta.

Evenings With Carlotta opens on Friday, April 30th, 2010, 11pm and runs Fri & Sat through May 21st, 2010, 11pm at Annex Theatre located at the corner of 11th & E. ABOUT THE COMPANY: Annex Theatre is a democratic collective of theatre artists dedicated to creating bold new work in an environment of improbability, resourcefulness and risk.
