A result of interest and feedback from Community Groups, it has been decided at this stage to postpone our Generations Community Walk. At the heart of the ethos of Centrestage is the belief that a strong Community is the most powerful tool for any town. With this in mind, we have decided that to engage our whole Community and to benefit every charity, youth group, support group, activity group, etc - we will throw open our Community Walk to everyone. Each walker that registers will be able to raise funds for their own charity - be it a local charity or group they are part of or a favourite charity they like to contribute to. Our Fundraising Team at Centrestage have secured support from The Klin Group, EAC and S + C Engineering to cover our costs for the walk so that 100% of you Registration Fee goes directly to Centrestage Community Projects helping vulnerable people in your area. In addition, we can provide each walker with their own sponsor sheets to allow them to raise funds for their group or charity so that everyone can benefit from their participation in the Community Walk. A new date has not yet been decided but it is likely to be into the Spring of 2014 to allow us to involve as many local charities and groups as possible.
