Chloe Matonis is set to make a return to Edinburgh Fringe this August, with her hit show Lt Love Dr's Boot Camp for Lonely People Like You, following a successful critically acclaimed run last year.
Lt Love Dr's Boot Camp for Lonely People Like You follows Lt Love Dr Hotty McTotty, a futuristic soldier who has travelled back in time from 2075, and is on a mission to revive human connection.
This hilarious, heartfelt and surprisingly impactful show will inspire you to make friends, disconnect from the digital world and rediscover what it means to be human.
Lt Love Dr's Boot Camp for Lonely People Like You is an interactive, character driven comedy, in which audiences can expect to be guided by Lt Love Dr through a series of exciting drills including small talk, eye contact and speed dating - rallying together to combat our increasingly isolated reality - meeting and mingling IRL again.
The show enjoyed success at last year's Fringe, gaining reviews including four stars from Broadway Baby, who praised the show as 'the beating heart of Fringe comedy.' Lt Love Dr's Boot Camp for Lonely People Like You is performed and created by Chloe Matonis, a stand up comedian, clown, performance artist, and entrepreneur, who founded Humor Resources. Matonis states that 'art is my vocation - comedy is my medium,' and that her work is driven by her 'mission to inspire intention, kindness and hope.'
Lt Love Dr's Boot Camp for Lonely People Like You is performing at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 6th - 30th (not 18th) August at 18.40pm (50 mins), The Saloon Bar at Just The Tonic at Westside Rodeo (venue number 25).
