@JENNA Solo Show Will Come to Edinburgh Fringe

Following critical acclaim, Winnie Stack is set to bring her comedic and poignant, coming-of-age solo show to Edinburgh Fringe this August.

@Jenna explores Stack's unedited childhood diaries, including an obsession with Pam Beesly from The Office - which becomes an accidental road map to self-understanding, and queer sexual awakening aged eleven.

Upon the discovery of her childhood journals, Stack delivers unedited excerpts, detailing her move into elementary school - where crushes are electric, imaginative, and unburdened by consequence. Desire is experienced as a joy, and full of possibility, before any awareness that it might be something to hide.

@Jenna sees Stack bring humour, brutal honesty and a menagerie of characters to the stage, to examine how we find, lose, and constantly fashion ourselves in the pursuit of desire. Audiences who enjoyed Fleabag's confessional directness, and PEN15's ruthless specificity will enjoy @Jenna, as the show oscillates between laugh-out-loud, nostalgic glee, along with cringe, and emotional gut punches - and rollercoaster of emotions during teen crushes.

Time Out New York said the show encapsulated the feeling of 'that heart-pounding, sweaty palm kind of love' felt during tween and teen crushes - encouraging audiences to reflect on their own childhood, and often unrequited, first loves. The show has been developed through eight iterations of rigorous refinement, and Stack has developed it from being a 30-minute basement set at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective, to a sell-out, critically acclaimed 75 minute run at The Elysian in 2025.

Winnie Stack is a New York and Los Angeles-based actress and writer. She is a former member of the Upright Citizens Brigade Maude team Peaches and an original cast member of The Second City New York's inaugural house sketch team, NYCO. While with NYCO, she performed weekly in The Best of The Second City and understudied the theater's Mainstage company. Stack's sketch group One Bad Egg performed a sold-out run at the San Francisco Sketchfest before bringing the show to Los Angeles for another sold-out performance at The Elysian Theater. She is currently touring @Jenna across New York and Los Angeles theater venues, before her Edinburgh Fringe Festival run, the show has received rave reviews from numerous critics, including the Brooklyn Daily Eagle.

@Jenna is performing at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 5th - 30th August at 19.00pm (60 mins), studio at C Venues, C Aquila (venue number 21).
