BABY EVERYTHING to Make UK Premiere at Summerhall Arts for EdFringe 2026
Philadelphia comedian Lee Minora returns to Edinburgh following her acclaimed solo debut WHITE FEMINIST.
BABY EVERYTHING will make its UK premiere at Edinburgh Fringe. Performances will run at Summerhall, Tech Cube 0, 6 - 31 August.
Acclaimed Philadelphia comedian, performer and writer Lee Minora is Baby. Returning to Edinburgh for the first time since her “must-see satire” debut, White Feminist (2018), Lee Minora presents the UK premiere of her new solo show, Baby Everything, at Summerhall this August.
Baby Everything arrives as a provocateur to a festival filled with work grappling with digital overload and societal collapse. But Baby enters the chat with a different question: yes, the world is on fire, but are we addicted to watching it burn? When global conflict and catastrophe arrive pre-packaged between targeted ads, Baby Everything asks us to consider if our constant witnessing has blurred into performance, and if being informed is masquerading as meaningful action. It's a show about the solipsism of doom. And while it doesn't deny that things are broken, Baby Everything proposes that we might be addicted to believing they're unprecedentedly broken because it makes us feel uniquely important?
Baby Everything is the morning doomscroll you actually want to wake up for, a razor-sharp, hilarious, helter-skelter interrogation of anxiety in the digital age. From the narcissistic comfort of a well-timed panic attack, to calling your mother a fascist and the relentless need to stay informed at all costs, no stone of modernity is left unturned. But audiences are not granted license to simply scroll the pain away, this show is, afterall, IRL. Baby needs you to: give a professional breast exam; decide where you'd flee if your country fell apart and; if you're lucky, hold Baby at gunpoint.
Lee Minora's acid dry delivery makes her the only messenger you should accept instructions from, her Fringe debut White Feminist was highly commended by The List and The Skinny, and named a must-see comedy by The New York Times. Minora's return to Edinburgh with Baby Everything is Natalie Palamides meets Susan Sontag, a fast, funny, and slightly unhinged comedy about the impossible task of figuring out whether the world is burning, or if you're just looking too closely.
