Lukas Meintjes performs at Assembly George Square Studios after sell-out Adelaide Fringe run
After sell out performances at Melbourne Fringe and Adelaide Fringe, B48Y Crash Lands on Earth! from Lukas Meintjes takes alien to a whole new level at Edinburgh Fringe. The performances will run 5 - 30 August at 10.40pm at Assembly George Square Studios.
Meintjes is the clown's clown. Audiences may recognise Meintjes from appearances in Garry Starr: Classic Penguins and from tech'ing Jessica Barton: Dirty Work at Edinburgh Fringe in 2025.

An alien crash lands on Earth... can YOU teach it to be human? Smoke and distant sirens wash over smouldering wreckage. WTF? You see a figure move in the bushes, a head pops up, it's large, it's round, it's crowned with two antennae. You wave, it waves back. You gasp, your gasp echoes back. It steps into the light, you want to scream but this thing looks f*#king stupid, but kind of adorable? Why is it here? What does it want? Why is it copying me?
