The premier festival of its kind in the southeastern United States, the Sarasota Improv Festival brings together top improvisers from across the country and around the world for one whirlwind weekend of spontaneous comedy. Taking place July 20, 21, and 22, the 13th Annual Sarasota Improv Festival features more than 20 troupes, 80 artists, and 29 performances.

Florida Studio Theatre Receives Arts Appreciation Grant From Gulf Coast Community Foundation
November 02, 2023 Florida Studio Theatre has announced that Gulf Coast Community Foundation (Gulf Coast) has awarded the regional theatre a $55,000 Arts Appreciation Grant, underwriting FST's current three-show Winter Cabaret Series, upcoming four-show Winter Mainstage Series, and 2024 Summer Mainstage Series.
