A Delicate Ship at Center Stage Theater

HappySad Theatre Company is thrilled to announce their second production of their first season, A Delicate Ship by Anna Ziegler.

A Delicate Ship is running June 12th and 13th at 7:00pm and June 14th at 2:00pm at Center Stage Theater. Directed by Robert Rodarte, this production features a cast of HappySad Company Members who are spread out from Santa Barbara, to LA, to New York City.

SYNOPSIS: A haunting love triangle triggers an unexpected chain of events in this poetic play. In the early stages of a new relationship, Sarah (Riley Rodarte) and Sam (Brayden Myrick) are lovers happily discovering each other. Sarah and Nate (Lior Selve) know everything about each other, best of friends since childhood and maybe something more. But when Nate shows up unannounced on Sarah’s doorstep, she’s left questioning what and who she wants in this humorous and heartbreaking look at love, memory, and the decisions that alter the course of our lives.

Founded in 2025 by Robert and Riley Rodarte, HappySad Theatre Company is excited to be back at Center Stage Theater for their second show after debuting earlier this year with The Effect. HappySad Theatre Company is committed to their mission of exploring the human condition through contemporary and classical plays. Robert and Riley would like to thank the community for their outpouring of support and encouragement after their first show, and they hope to see you all at their upcoming production.
