What if you could start over ....
This 2001 musical play tells the story of Percy, just released from prison and ready to start her life anew in a rural town called Gilead, a town she knows of only from a faded postcard. Share Percy’s journey as she struggles to find her place as a waitress at the town’s only restaurant, The Spitfire Grill, and watch as she becomes the balm for healing relationships for everyone she meets, as well as herself. Sarah Griner, new to the Rotary Stage, plays Percy. Her recent credits include Mother in Ragtime with Stage 1/Ohlone College Summerfest. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon, and an MFA in Vocal Performance from Notre Dame de Namur University.
