Actress, singer and songwriter Kathryn Keats will perform her powerful new solo musical "The Hummingbird," with proceeds benefiting Center for Domestic Peace in Marin County on Sunday, June 11, 2023. "The Hummingbird" is based on Keats' experience as a survivor of domestic violence, which ultimately attracted national attention and resulted in a precedent-setting legal case. Co-written by acclaimed Marin County musician Kevin Gerzevitz and directed by David Ford, this award-winning production is a story of courage, hope and forgiveness.
"...one of the best solo shows of the year." - The San Francisco Standard
"...a testament to the messy, always in-progress act of survival and the inextinguishable fire of a true artist." - San Francisco Chronicle
