WICKED Breaks Box Office Records at Center for the Performing Arts

The South Bay premiere of Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED, has broken the box office record at San Jose's Center for the Performing Arts grossing $1,516,245 during the first week of a three-week engagement. This tops the previous record set by JERSEY BOYS one month prior. The phenomenon made its South Bay premiere on Wednesday, August 27. Performances of WICKED continue through Sunday, September 14.
