Tony Nominee Judy Kuhn Brings RODGERS, RODGERS & GUETTEL to Feinstein's at the Nikko Today

Hotel Nikko San Francisco and Michael Feinstein welcomes the four-time Tony Award nominee, Judy Kuhn, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances of her acclaimed show, Rodgers, Rodgers & Guettel, today, Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m. and tomorrow, Saturday, June 4 at 7 p.m.

Kuhn's new show celebrates a century of American song from one remarkable family: Richard Rodgers, his daughter Mary Rodgers and her son Adam Guettel. When the show premiered to a sold-out crowd at Lincoln Center's American Songbook, the New York Times called Kuhn a "top of the line singer [who] portrayed the lineage of the composer Richard Rodgers as more than bloodline, [but] a proudly romantic musical tradition." Rodgers, Rodgers & Guettel features musical direction and arrangements by Todd Almond.

Judy Kuhn is a four-time Tony Award nominee, most recently for her starring role in Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori's Tony Award-winning musical, Fun Home directed by Sam Gold. Also on Broadway she starred in the Roundabout's 1993 hit revival of She Loves Me (Tony Nomination), Chess (Tony & Drama Desk Nomination), Les Miserables (Tony & Drama Desk Nomination), Rags (Drama Desk Nomination),Two Shakespearean Actors (Lincoln Center Theatre), Alan Menken & Tim Rice's King David, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood (original cast). Most recent appearances include The Visit by John Kander, Fred Ebb & Terrance McNally at The Williamstown Theater Festival, the original production of Fun Home at the Public Theater (Lucille Lortell Award), Fosca in the much lauded CSC production of Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine's Passion, directed by John Doyle (Drama League Award nomination) and the inaugural season of Encores! Off-Center in The Cradle Will Rock directed by Sam Gold. Judy sang the title role in Disney's "Pocahontas" as well as the in the sequel "Pocahontas II: Journey To A New World". Other film and television appearances include: "Enchanted," "Elementary" (CBS), "Hope & Faith" (ABC), "Law & Order" (NBC), "All My Children"; (ABC), "The Secret Life of Mary Margaret..."(HBO), "My Favorite Broadway: The Leading Ladies" (PBS), "The Kennedy Center Honors" (CBS), "The Les Miserables 10th Anniversary Concert" (PBS), "In Performance At The White House" (PBS), and the independent feature "Day on Fire" in which she costarred and performed the soundtrack with John Medeski.

Judy has performed on concert stages around the world including appearances at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Feinstein's at the Regency, The Hollywood Bowl, The Philly Pops Orchestra, as well as The Royal Albert Hall and The Hippodrome in London. She can be heard on numerous original cast recordings, as well as her solo CDs: "Rodgers, Rodgers & Guettel" (PS Classics), "All This Happiness (PS Classics), "Serious Playground: The Songs of Laura Nyro" (Sh-K-Boom) and "Just in Time: Judy Kuhn Sings Jule Styne."

Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein's at the Nikko, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.

Guests of Feinstein's at the Nikko can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options before performances. Kanpai Lounge, located in Hotel Nikko's lobby, offers light cuisine, a full bar and specialty cocktails. Restaurant Anzu, Hotel Nikko's intimate restaurant located on the second floor, serves sustainable California cuisine enhanced with Asian flavors. Restaurant Anzu will also offer Feinstein's at the Nikko guests a special three-course prix-fixe dinner ($45 per person) prior to all performances.
