Fresh off her Tony Award-nominated role in Roundabout Theater Company's critically-acclaimed Broadway revival of She Loves Me, Tony Award winner Laura Benanti returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with her new show, Tales from Soprano Isle, for three performances only - tonight, July 29 (8 p.m.), tomorrow, July 30 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, July 31 (3 p.m.).

In this humorous evening, Benanti will perform songs from throughout her celebrated career, as well as share stories and personal anecdotes from her life on and off the stage!

Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti can currently be seen starring in Roundabout Theater Company's critically-acclaimed Broadway revival of She Loves Me opposite Zachary Levi, for which she received a 2016 Tony Award Nomination, Drama Desk Award Nomination, Outer Critic's Circle Award Nomination and Drama League Distinguished Performance Award Nomination. On TV, she most recently portrayed Alura Zor-El in the CBS action- drama, "Supergirl." In 2014, she played songbird Sadie Stone in ABC's hit drama, "Nashville" and also appeared in recurring arcs on CBS's "The Good Wife" and HBO's "Nurse Jackie."

In addition to television work and her highly praised performance as Elsa Schrader in NBC's "The Sound of Music LIVE," Ms. Benanti is a highly celebrated, five-time Tony Award-nominated stage actress, who took Broadway by storm at the age of 18.

She received a Drama Desk award, Outer Critics Circle Award, and a Tony Award Nomination for her captivating performance in the Broadway production of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown for Lincoln Center, where she also starred in the Broadway production of Sarah Ruhl's In the Next Room or The Vibrator Play. Ms. Benanti earned the 2008 Tony Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Award for her revelatory portrayal of "Gypsy Rose Lee" in Gypsy, opposite Patti LuPone and directed by Arthur Laurents. Her versatile Broadway resume also includes Nine, starring Antonio Banderas; the musical adaptation of The Wedding Singer; a Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Award- nominated performance as "Cinderella" in Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods; and her sultry, Tony-nominated turn in Swing!. Ms. Benanti made her Broadway debut as "Maria" in The Sound of Music, opposite Richard Chamberlain.

Other distinguished theater performances include The Public Theater's production of Christopher Durang's Why Torture is Wrong and the People Who Love Them; "Perdita" in The Winter's Tale at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, opposite Kate Burton; "Anne" in A Little Night Music at the L.A. Opera, opposite Victor Garber; and City Center Encores' productions of Wonderful Town, opposite Donna Murphy, and Most Happy Fella. Ms. Benanti completed a week-long engagement at the popular New York cabaret club, 54 Below, for which The New York Times hailed her as a "supremely confident" performer whose "bright, full soprano, with its semi-operatic heft, can go almost anywhere." In September 2013, she released her debut album, "In Constant Search of the Right Kind of Attention: Live at 54 BELOW" on Broadway Records to ecstatic reviews.

Laura currently performs her concerts in venues around the country and even performed for the President and First Lady of the United States at both the Fords Gala and the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC. She also recently headlined the Radio City Spring Spectacular with the famed Rockettes.

Laura's past television credits include a starring role in the NBC series "The Playboy Club" and "Go On" opposite Matthew Perry. She also starred in the F/X original series "Starved". Ms. Benanti recurred on "Law and Order: SVU," "Royal Pains," and "Eli Stone." and had appearances on "The Big C" and "Elementary."

Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein's at the Nikko, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.

Guests of Feinstein's at the Nikko can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options before performances. Kanpai Lounge, located in Hotel Nikko's lobby, offers light cuisine, a full bar and specialty cocktails. Restaurant Anzu, Hotel Nikko's intimate restaurant located on the second floor, serves sustainable California cuisine enhanced with Asian flavors. Restaurant Anzu will also offer Feinstein's at the Nikko guests a special three-course prix-fixe dinner ($45 per person) prior to all performances.
