After a 2010 UK tour, the legendary West End All New Original Tribute to The Blues Brothers is back across the country in 2011. Visiting venues across the country, this 'all-new' production presents all of the classic moments from the original hit West End show and more.

Following its humble premiere in a small seaside pub in Brighton in 1991, the show fast became a success. It was snapped up by theatre producer David Pugh and film director David Leyland, who opened the show in the West End just six months later. There it won a BAFTA for Best New Musical, and the run was extended from six to an unprecedented forty six weeks; playing to over 150,000 people.

The Blues Brothers were founded in 1978 by comedy actors Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live. The Hollywood film, created around its characters, was released in 1980.

This production is presented by Wells Fargo. The Gallo Center for the Arts' 2011-12 Premier Partner is Boyett Petroleum.
