The 6th Street Playhouse proudly presents "You Can't Take It With You" by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman.

Set in the 1930's, this delightful comedy examines the "American Dream" when two very different families are brought together by the love affair of a young couple.

The eccentric, carefree Sycamore-Vanderhof and the aristocratic, judgmental Kirby families collide in this thought-provoking screwball classic filled with hope and laughs.

Light-hearted and illuminating, this Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy is among the most popular and successful plays of modern times.

The production is directed by Charlie Queary, set and lighting design by John Connole, and costume design by Marta Koehne.

The production runs Oct. 2 to Oct. 25, 2009, 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 2 p.m. Saturdays & Sundays at 6th Street Playhouse - GK Hardt Theatre at 52 West 6th Street, Santa Rosa, located in historic Railroad Square.
