SHOWGIRLS! THE MUSICAL! to Receive West Coast Premiere in San Francisco This Summer
Peaches Christ Productions and MediumFace Productions are proud to present the West Coast premiere of SHOWGIRLS! The Musical!, playing San Francisco's Victoria Theatre (2961 16th Street, San Francisco) for a limited two-week engagement from August 10-20, 2016.
Based on the 1995 so-bad-it's-good "cinematic masterpiece," SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! tells the story of the beautiful drifter, Nomi Malone, as she goes from stripper to showgirl in Las Vegas. Catching the glittery eye of Stardust Casino's superstar stripper, Cristal Connors, Nomi sees an opportunity for her desire to become real. But there is only room for one star on the marquee as the battle of the showgirls begins. Starring April Kidwell - direct from the New York engagement - as Nomi Malone and legendary drag queen Peaches Christ as Cristal Connors, SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! will have audiences singing, dancing...and thrusting in their seats!
The performance schedule for SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! is as follows: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Press night will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Tickets range in price from $32-$45 and are available at the Victoria Theatre box office (2961 16th Street) or by visiting www.peacheschrist.com.
