SF Playhouse Calls For 'SF Playhouse Pluggers' To Tweet During THE FANTASTICS

According to The SFAppeal.com The San Francisco Playhouse is inviting people to tweet during the July 13 performance of THE FANTASTICKS. SF Playhouse is designating a special 'tweet seat' section of the theatre for the 'SF Playhouse Pluggers.'

In order to be involved officially audience members are asked to apply in advance. Participants much be over the age of 15, be available to see the show on JUly 13 at 7pm and have to ability to activly tweet during the show without plugging into an outlet. Those selected to be the 'pluggers' will receive free admission to the show.

THE FANTASTICKS, with a book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt will be directed by Bill English and play the SF Playhouse thru September 4.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, THE FANTASTICS is re-imagined in a world devastated by Global warming to bring new resonance to its theme of hope and of facing the truth, before one can grow. Beautiful melodies, among them the hit songs "Try to Remember" and "Soon It's Gonna Rain" sparkle throughout the comedy and evoke the agony and rapture of being young, full of dreams, and giddy with love.
