This 6th Street Playhouse production features the 1974 revision by playwright Tennessee Williams and features Charles Siebert* (who played brother Gooper in the 1974 Broadway production) as Big Daddy; Jenifer Coté as Maggie; Clint Campbell as Brick; Kate Brickley* as Big Mama; Tice Allison as Gooper; Beth Deitchman as Mae; Joe Winkler as Doctor Baugh; and Samson Hood as Reverend Tooker.
The show centers around "sexual desire and repression, death and greed cast a somber mood on the occasion of Big Daddy's 65th birthday celebration and threaten to destroy a wealthy, but dysfunctional Southern family in Tennessee Williams' 1955 Pulitzer Prize winning drama.
