PCRT's MAMMA MIA! Opens Late January 2019!
Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre is proud to present the Tony nominated musical Mamma Mia! Music and Lyrics are by Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. Some songs are with Stig Anderson. The Book is by Catherine Johnson. The show was originally conceived by Judy Craymer.
The show will run from January 26th through February 10th, 2019: Fridays, 2/1 & 2/8 at 8pm; Saturday matinees 2/2 and 2/9 at 2pm; Saturdays, 1/26, 2/2, and 2/9 at 8pm; and Sunday matinees 1/27 and 2/10 at 2pm. Also, due to popular demand we have added Thursdays 1/31 and 2/7 at 7:30pm
All performances will take place at Firehouse Arts Center, located at 4444 Railroad Avenue located in Pleasanton, CA. Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre is back bringing the international smash hit Mamma Mia, based on the songs of ABBA. This charming, funny story follows the adventures of Sophie, a young woman who wants to discover the identity of her father. Her mother, Donna, has never been forthcoming, so Sophie invites three men from her mother's past to her own wedding. Mamma Mia is packed with upbeat ABBA songs including "Dancing Queen," "Super Trouper," "Gimme Gimme Gimme," and "Take a Chance On Me." Bring the whole family to the ultimate feel-good show, and be prepared to have the time of your life!
Professional Director Scott Maraj will direct this Tony nominated show at the intimate Firehouse Arts Center. Scott will team up with Music Director, Brett Strader and Choreographer, Gary Ferguson
