Off-Market Theaters To Present Solo Performances At Stage 205 Beginning 9/17
Off-Market Theaters and its managing companies, Combined Artform and PianoFight, are proud to announce the launch of San Francisco's newest venue for solo performances, Stage 205 at Off-Market, which will feature the Bay Area's longest-ever running solo show, Brian Copeland's Not A Genuinue Black Man, the world premiere run of Jennifer Jajeh's I Heart Hamas, and back after a highly successful run at The Marsh, playing to sold-out crowds is Carolyn Doyle and Confessions of a Refrigerator Mother, all kicking off the weekend of Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 8:00pm.
Rounding out the line-up of Bay Area solo performers playing at Stage 205 at Off-Market, will be Norm Coleman's Ty Cobb: The Greatest Player That Played, and Katie Rubin's Inside Out! And professional comedian Ira Brightman will be performing the life-extension portion of his solo show, God, Hitler, and Life-Extension. Additional performers will be added throughout the year.
Off-Market Theaters, located at 965 Mission St in San Francisco, is excited to be continuing its long history with solo performers (the venue hosted the SF Solo Fest in 2006), and working with such a high caliber of Bay Area performers. As venues across the country continue to shutter their doors, and companies shorten season lengths and cut show budgets, Off-Market is thrilled to offer solo performers opportunities to perform at a great San Francisco venue.
