NCTC's Family Matinee Series presents SNOW WHITE, AN OLD-FASHIONED MELODRAMA, today, October 5, 6, 12 and 13, written and directed by Stephanie Temple.
Played out as an old-fashioned melodrama set in the Colorado mountains of 1873, SNOW WHITE features slapstick comedy, square dancing and a cast of silly characters. Evil saloon owner, Queenie Blackheart, sends the innocent barmaid, Snow White, off into the woods to be killed for her crime of beauty. After escaping, Snow stumbles upon the cottage of the rough and tumble Dwarf family who are in desperate need of housekeeping and lesson in manners.
