Mission CTRL Comedy presents THE EROTIC BLOCKCHAIN

Mission CTRL Comedy is coming for the crypto-bros with their all new comedy show, The Erotic Blockchain.

The show features a dickish CEO named simply Travis (and played by a woman), a man (played by a man) hired to be a woman at a tech company holiday party who then gets hired to be their first female engineer but is still a man the whole time, automated human resource departments, mansplaining, unsafe Google searches, Indiegogo campaigns to make rent, and a whole lot more on cryptocurrency, workplace sexuality, productivity, and general mortality. It's like Bitcoin. But sexier.

PIANOFIGHT is San Francisco's landmark entertainment venue for indy arts, housing a cabaret stage with full service restaurant and bar and two intimate theaters. We present New Work by New Artists, most of whom are local. In addition to producing the largest audience-judged theater competition in the country, ShortLived, PianoFight hosts or produces over 1,500 performances per year, more than any other venue in Northern California. Shows run the gamut from world-premiere dramas to inventive sketch comedy, choose-your-own-ending plays to interactive dance comedy, improv to variety shows, literary events, podcasts, film screenings, game shows and more.

Mission CTRL has been making comedy in the Bay Area since 2008. The founding comedy troupe of local venue and artist collective PianoFight, Mission CTRL has been called "SF sketch Legends" (TheLAist.com) and praised as "seriously funny shit" (7x7 Magazine). The examiner wrote of them, "Mission CTRL ranks with the best of sketch comedy troupes: think Second City and early SNL. These guys can hold their own as writers and performers.
