Masquers Playhouse Presents THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND

The World Goes 'Round, a revue of the works of songwriting team Kander and Ebb, opens November 13 at Masquers Playhouse in Point Richmond. Kander and Ebb defined Broadway and made careers. Among the legends of musical theater, Kander & Ebb stand out for their signature, timeless style. Their songs are instant standards that seem at once startlingly fresh and bone-familiar. The World Goes 'Round explores their spectacular musical cosmos-hilarious, touching, melodic, kinetic, and bursting with Razzle Dazzle. Directed by Peter Budinger and DC Scarpelli.

The cast features Christina Boothman, Mark J Enea, Coley Grundman, Chris Macomber, Laura Morgan, J. Scott Stewart, Susan Tonkin and Alicia von Kugelgen.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm with Sunday Matinees at 2:00 pm on November 22, 29 and December 6. The show plays through December 12. Tickets are $22 and all seats are general admission. Tickets can be purchased on line at www.masquers.org or by calling (510) 232-4031. The playhouse is located off of Highway 580 (Richmond Parkway exit) at 105 Park Place, Point Richmond across from the Hotel Mac.
