Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC)announced several new performances in 2018, adding to its diverse lineup of shows in Santa Rosa. Country star Josh Turner makes his LBC debut Thursday, September 6; and Serial Killers LIVE on Stage, a live presentation of the popular Parcast podcast series, will be held Friday, October 19. By popular demand, a second show with comedian Jim Gaffigan has been added Thursday, August 9. Tickets for Jim Gaffigan are on sale now. Tickets for Josh Turner and Serial Killers LIVE on Stage will be available beginning Friday May 18 online at lutherburbankcenter.org, by calling 707-546-3600 or at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts ticket office (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa).

Jim Gaffigan is a Grammy Award-nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling father of five. He is known around the world for his unique brand of humor which largely revolves around fatherhood and his observations on life. In January 2017, he premiered his fifth one-hour stand up special, "Cinco," on Netflix, and has four other comedy specials, including "Beyond the Pale" (2006), "King Baby" (2009), "Mr. Universe" (2012) and "Obsessed" (2014), which premiered at #1 on iTunes which marked the fifth time Gaffigan reached the Top 25 Comedy category on iTunes. The album also earned a nomination for Best Comedy Album of the Year at the 2015 Grammy Awards. He comes to LBC as part of his Noble Ape international arena and theater comedy tour, with dates in China, Japan, England, Canada, Paris, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.

From his 2003 platinum-selling debut "Long Black Train" to his most recent 2017 Billboard No. 1 release, "Deep South," Turner has garnered multiple GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM nominations. Turner's hits include "Your Man," "Why Don't We Just Dance," "Firecracker," "Would You Go with Me," "All Over Me," and "Time Is Love," the most played country song of 2012.

SERIAL KILLERS LIVE ON STAGE

Mystery. Manipulation. Murder. Serial Killers LIVE on Stage provides a rare glimpse into the mind, methods and madness of the most notorious serial killers with the hopes of better understanding their psychological profiles. Hosts Greg Polcyn and Vanessa Richardson will share new stories and mysteries live on stage in the spirit of the original podcasts that have put Parcast on the map. Some of Serial Killers' most popular episodes have featured madman H.H. Holmes, Peter Kurten, the "Vampire of Dusseldorf," and the so-called "Ken and Barbie Killers." A limited number of VIP tickets will be available for $100 and include a premium seat in addition to a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with the hosts.
