Los Altos Youth Theatre Presents LITTLE WOMEN

The classic novel "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott has been blessed with melody and transformed into an "astonishing" musical. Following the lives of Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March as they start as young, wide-eyed children and ascend into adulthood the show contains all the books best moments and much more as the audience is able to see Jo's stories comes to life! Featuring hit songs such as "Astonishing", "Take A Chance On Me", and "Some Thing's Are Meant To Be", you do not want to miss out on this show.

Directed by Cindy Powell-Weisburg this show will fall under our youth and adult crossover production between Los Altos Youth Theatre and Los Altos Stage Co. Auditions will be open to students ages 10-18 on May 1st and 2nd with callbacks on May 3rd. Rehearsals begin May 14th - June 29th and take place Monday to Thursdayfrom 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. (We are off the week of 4th of July) Tech week is July 8th-12th with performances July 13th-29th.

Three professional adult actors will be taking on characters and working with the students on their performance throughout the run. We also open up the audition process to college student as interns who can perform in the production as well as assist in various aspects of the show. Video audition submissions for out of town performers will begin on May 1st and can be emailed with a resume to jillian@losaltosstage.org.
