HOW WE FIRST MET to Return to San Francisco on Valentine's Day
"HOW WE FIRST MET" returns to San Francisco for one-night-only valentine show at 8pm Friday, February 14, 2014 at Marines' Memorial Theatre, San Francisco, Calif.
HOW WE FIRST MET, the hit comedy show that shares real-life tales of romance brought to hilarious life on stage by a crack team of improv performers, returns to San Francisco's Marines' Memorial Theatre for a special Valentine's Day performance. HOW WE FIRST MET is an uplifting, spontaneous theatrical experience that has been making Valentine's Day memorable for audiences around the world - from Toronto to Tokyo, New York to Melbourne - since its first San Francisco performance in 2001.
Each rendition of HOW WE FIRST MET is a one-of-a-kind experience as creator and host Jill Bourque selects three couples from the audience and interviews them live on stage about their first encounters. Their stories are then re-interpreted by a brilliant troupe of improv artists, who transform pivotal moments from each real-life romantic rendezvous into sketches and songs, taking audiences on a side-splitting journey through the world of meeting, dating, and mating.
The show is set for 8pm Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Marines' Memorial Theatre, 609 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA. Tickets: $45-$60. For tickets and information, visit www.howwefirstmet.com or call (415) 392-4400.
