Predating Steve Bannon and Kellyanne and long before Charlottesville, Bay Area composer and satirist K. S. Haddock was writing the musical Hitler in the Green Room. In the vein of Mel Brooks's Springtime for Hitler and Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator, Haddock's Hitler spoof throws a pie in the face of Neo-Nazis everywhere.
EXIT Theatre,156 Eddy St., San Francisco. Part of the SF Fringe Festival.

This "alternative facts" dark musical comedy takes place backstage in the green room the night before the big 1933 Nuremberg Rally. Hitler is on his deathbed and it's up to his four companions to make sure the show goes on. Joseph Goebbels, Rudolf Hess, Ernst Röhm, and Leni Riefenstahl conspire to prop up a Hitler impersonator to take the place of their Führer. But at such short notice, their only choice is a drunk, gay, Jewish cabaret singer.

This show will sell out! Tickets still available at Brown Paper Tickets, http://hitler.bpt.me/. If you're lucky, you can get tickets at the box office for $10.00
