FELA! Receives Proclamation from the City of San Francisco
FELA! received the honor of a Proclamation from SF Mayor Ed Lee this past weekend.
"We are thrilled to showcase FELA! here in San Francisco with its strong message of social justice set to theater, dance and music," said San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee. "We are proud to honor FELA! for their contributions that have truly enriched our youth, our communities and our City. In the last few weeks, FELA! has made history with this wonderful production."
Hydra Mendoza who currently serves as the elected Vice President of the San Francisco Board of Education was on hand to present the Proclamation to FELA! Producer Stephen Hendel on Saturday, November 28.
