The RRazz Room, San Francisco's premier nightclub, will present the return of acclaimed singer and actress Emily Bergl from July 27 to July 29 with her new show "NY I Love You."

Bergl may be best known for her role on "Desperate Housewives," but she recently burst onto the club scene in New York with sold out runs at The Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room and the Café Carlyle, receiving raves from publications like The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Her acclaimed one-woman shows have since been seen in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, Seattle and Las Vegas. Kidding On The Square, her debut album – recorded live at the Oak Room – is now available on Amazon and iTunes.

"NY I Love You" is an evening of song and stories that explores a life-long love affair with the Big Apple and all the characters that call Manhattan home. Audiences are transported to the city that never sleeps, with classic tunes from Rodgers and Hart to Gus Kahn, and sly reinventions of modern pop from The Beach Boys to Cyndi Lauper. "Cabaret is about celebrating all the aspects of love," explains Ms. Bergl, "and the longest, most passionate affair of my life has been with the city of New York." Come see this dynamic new performer that The New York Times called "a gust of fresh air that could knock you off your feet." She is joined on piano by San Francisco's G. Scott Lacy.

Emily's most famous recent role on television is the tragic housewife Beth Young on "Desperate Housewives." For two years, Emily played Annie on ABC's "Men in Trees," a comedy starring Anne Heche centered around a small Alaskan town. She also played the troubled photographer Tammi Bryant on the TNT hit "Southland." Quickly after she first moved to New York, she was chosen from a nationwide casting call to play the lead in "The Rage: Carrie 2," her first job on camera. The film earned rave reviews for the novice film actress' performance, and lead to roles in independent films such as Happy Campers, Chasing Sleep, and Fur.

Emily starred on Broadway in The Lion in Winter opposite Laurence Fishburne and Stockard Channing, for which she won the FANY award for Best Broadway Debut. Many guest star roles on television soon followed, including "ER" "NYPD Blue," "Medium," "Grey's Anatomy," "The Good Wife," and two seasons as the malevolent Francie on "Gilmore Girls." Emily also starred in "Steven Spielberg Presents Taken," a historic 20-hour mini-series, as Lisa, the mother to Dakota Fanning. Upcoming projects include roles on the SyFy Network's "Warehouse 13" and Woody Allen's upcoming feature film.
