Center Repertory Company to Present Caryl Churchill's A NUMBER 1/21-2/7/2010
The Center REPertory Company in Walnut Creek, Califormia is presenting A Number by Caryl Churchill; it will be directed by Michael Butler and will star James Carpenter and Gabriel Marin.
What would you do if you had cloned a child 35 years earlier, and now the past is coming to call with some very tough questions? From the inventive mind of Caryl Churchill comes an enthralling, thought-provoking drama where a world of scientific speculation relates to the reality we may face in our not too distant future. Some consider her the world's greatest living playwright and her latest play A Number, the first true masterpiece of the 21st century.
