The Capitol Steps return to the Opera House for another round of hilarity. The group began as Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. In the years that followed, many of the Steps ignored the conventional wisdom ("Don't quit your day job!"), and although not all of the current members of the Steps are former Capitol Hill staffers, taken together the performers have worked in a total of 18 Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience. Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded 29 albums, including their latest, Obama Mia! They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard four times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.

"I believe that the Capitol Steps show is the only place you can see Joe Biden sing a rock song, Kim Jong Il sing a show tune, and Tiger Woods do a rap! All on the same stage," said Capitol Steps performer Elaina Newport. "We'll have songs about both parties (and party crashers) and issues from health care reform, airline security to "don't ask, don't tell." The world's going crazy...you gotta laugh!"

Select song titles from the performance:
The Fly of the Tiger
Strangers on the Flight
Cash for Codgers
Return to Spenders
It's Not Easy Going Green
